Fees

Additional Charges (all Equipment)

Extensive Cleaning Fee: $50

(We will only charge this fee if the Equipment is not clean when it’s returned, and it requires

extensive cleaning).

Additional Charges (Vehicle hire only)

Petrol Fee: $2.00 per litre

(This fee is only charged if the Customer doesn’t return the Vehicle with a full tank of petrol)

Toll Administration

Fee: $10

(This fee is only charged if the Customer incurs a toll when the Customer is using the Vehicle.

This fee is charged on top of the amount of the toll).

Infringement Administration

Fee: $20

(This fee is only charged if the Customer incurs an infringement when the Customer is using

the Vehicle (for example, a parking ticket or a speeding fine)). This fee is charged on top of

the amount of the infringement).

Security Bond

Security Bond - $2,500

If the Customer doesn’t incur any charges under this Agreement, this amount will be refunded
to the Customer approximately two (2) weeks after the Customer returns the Vehicle.

Late Charges

Where the Customer returns the Equipment after 5pm but before 6pm on the Return Date, the Late Charge is $50.

Where the Customer returns the Equipment after 6pm on the Return Date, the Late Charge is

the cost of another days hire for each 24-hour period after the Return Date that the

Equipment is returned late.

Termination Fees

The following Termination Fees apply where the Customer cancels the Hire by written notice to Frontier Tourers.

If the Hire Term is less than 7 days

Where the Customer cancels the Hire giving:

1. At least 7 days’ notice prior to the Start Date, Frontier Tourers will provide the Customer with a full refund of any Fees paid;
2. Less than 7 days’ but more than 48 hours’ notice prior to the Start Date, Frontier Tourers will provide the Customer with a refund of 50% of any Fees paid;
3. Less than 48 hours’ notice prior to the Start Date, any Fees paid will be non-refundable.

If the Hire Terms is 7 days or more

Where the Customer cancels the Hire giving:

1. At least 7 days’ notice prior to the Start Date, Frontier Tourers will provide the Customer with a full refund of any Fees paid;
2. Less than 7 days at least 5 days’ notice prior to the Start Date, Frontier Tourers will provide the Customer with a refund of 75% of any Fees paid;
3. Less than 5 days’ but at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the Start Date, Frontier Tourers will provide the Customer with a refund of 50% of any Fees paid;
4. Less than 48 hours’ notice prior to the Start Date, any Fees paid will be non-refundable
   

Excess Reduction Charge

Standard Insurance excess: $5,500

Optional Excess Reduction

$12 per day of the Hire Term

If this optional amount is paid before the Start Date, the excess payable in the event of loss or damage to the Vehicle during the Hire Term (not caused or contributed to by a breach of this Agreement) will be reduced to $2,750.

$25 per day of the Hire Term

‍

If this optional amount is paid before the Start Date, the excess payable in the event of loss or damage to the Vehicle during the Hire Term (not caused or contributed to by a breach of this Agreement) will be reduced to $1,500.
